This invention relates to the recording of color video signals.
The aim of the invention is to improve the recording quality by reducing crosstalk.

The device for recording color video signals contains the first low-pass filter 1 (LPF) ,, delay line 2, frequency modulator 3, high pass filter 4 (HPF), mixer 5, amplifier 6, comb filter 7, balanced modulator 8, and generator 9 frequencies, key 10, second LPF 11, selector 12 horizontal sync pulses (FID), selector 13 frame sync impulses (XNI), first 14 and second 15 triggers, element 16, block 17 of rotating magnetic heads, servo 18.
The device works as follows;
The full video signal contains the left and right color components and is fed to the input of the low-pass filter I and, via line 2, to the input of the frequency modulator 3. The output signal of the frequency modulator 3 is fed through the high-pass filter 4 to the mixer 5
The full video signal is fed to the input of the comb filter 7, which extracts the chroma signal.
